Dallegno s.r.l. is a company located in Sicily, in the south of Italy. The brief is to design a furniture collection to reposition the company profile from classic and traditional design to a modern and fresh one.
Analyzing the actual trends and people’s behaviour, we choose an iconic piece as te chair is, studying its evolution in our life. If before it was a symbol of rest, now it is the trasposition of the frenetic life: usually the chair in the bedroom is used as a quick and open wardrobe, where the people put the clothes in the rush. So the chair is decomposed and removed from its elements of rest (sit, back and arms) to be opened at the service of the people, as a valet stand (“servo muto” in Italian, literally “mute slave”).

The collection is composed by three main pieces thought to be placed in different parts of the home. Two small accessories are removable and can take places on the shelves or on the sink, as storage trays.
